Jeremiah 51:6-8

6 (A)Flee from the midst of Babylon,
And each of you escape with his life!
Do not be [a](B)silenced in her [b]iniquity,
For this is (C)Yahweh’s time of vengeance;
He is going to (D)render recompense to her.
7 Babylon has been a golden (E)cup in the hand of Yahweh,
Intoxicating all the earth.
The (F)nations have drunk of her wine;
Therefore the nations are (G)going mad.
8 Suddenly (H)Babylon has fallen and been broken;
(I)Wail over her!
(J)Take [c]balm for her pain;
Perhaps she may be healed.
